Nicolas joined our firm’s Corporate Department in May 2022 and his main areas of practice include Sanctions advice within the EU sanctions framework, Corporate-Commercial Law, Competition Law, Banking & Finance, Personal Data Protection and Regulatory Compliance for entities supervised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC). He works closely with Directors of the firm on a number of projects for the provision of transactional, advisory and regulatory compliance services.
Nicolas has previously worked as a Corporate Lawyer, Compliance Officer and Officer at the Supervision Division of the Central Bank of Cyprus, where he was involved in projects involving competition clearance of mergers/acquisitions by the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competition and the digitalization of the Cyprus economy through proposed amendments to legislation (member of the working group set up by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy).
The services provided by Nicolas also involve drafting of tailored M&As and drafting/reviewing of documentation relating to capital injections, corporate finance, redemption of shares, shareholders’ agreements and license agreements.
