Nayia is the head of the tax department of the firm and also acts as the managing director of the firm’s subsidiary Nobel Trust Ltd, which specializes in corporate and fiduciary services.
She has more than 18 years of experience in professional services focusing on corporate and personal taxation, international taxation, tax structuring, VAT, tax negotiations/disputes and general business consulting to companies with international operations. Nayia is an “all-rounder”, a results-orientated professional with high business acumen and dedication to client service. Nayia’s thorough knowledge of taxation laws, finance and international business as well as her practical and creative approach to her clients’ business issues, result in practical solutions to complex tax and business matters.
Most of Nayia’s work is advising international corporations and investors on how to best utilise Cyprus corporate vehicles for their international investments via the establishment of tax efficient structures and the use of Cyprus and/or overseas vehicles, including inter alia corporations, trusts, foundations and partnerships. In addition, Nayia advises clients on how to resolve complex issues in relation to business matters including accounting and financial reporting, establishing business substance, identifying banking and financing options, insolvency, compliance and due diligence. In addition, she assists private clients on private wealth, immigration and family estate matters.
Nayia’s extensive business experience as well as her management experience and qualifications has resulted in her appointment as non-executive director appointments for international companies operating in Cyprus.
Nayia has written various articles on Cyprus taxation and has presented the Cypriot tax jurisdiction at various international conferences in Cyprus and abroad.
