He advises clients in relation to regulatory framework relevant, handles non – contentious matters and opines in relation to the above practice areas. Among his clients are a number of semi-public bodies whom he advises in relation to the general principles of Administrative law that govern their internal workings and
In addition, Demetris provides legal advice and contractual drafting for private clients in matters of Employment law. Notably, Demetris has advised on the posting of employees, the procedures of transfer of business or part of business (TUPE) and transfer of employees within connected companies, whilst safeguarding the continuity of employment as well as on redundancy procedures and other ancillary matters.
He also drafts contracts and agreements such as Lease agreements, Sale and Purchase agreements, Sale of Property agreements, agreements for the Provision of Services, Dispute Adjudication Agreements and Distribution Agreements.
Furthermore, Demetris regularly appears before the Supreme Court, Administrative Court, District Courts as well as the specialised Rent Control Court and Industrial Dispute Court.
