Previously she had been employed as a tax and compliance consultant at the firm's wholly-owned subsidiary, Nobel Trust Limited.
Evangelia is involved in a number of high-value projects which mainly concern asset disposals and acquisitions, cross border mergers and re-domiciliations and corporate and debt restructurings. She advises local and international clients as to the legal and tax implications connected with their business and assists with the review and drafting of project and contractual documentation and corporate instruments.
She is also extensively involved in advising and assisting corporate clients on regulatory matters including, but not limited to, local registration and filing obligations, banking requirements, due diligence implications of commercial transactions, FATCA and CRS reporting obligations and data protection issues. Evangelia regularly represents clients in their dealings with the local banks and authorities.
Evangelia is also experienced in private wealth management and has been involved in a variety of projects in relation to high net worth individual clients including the establishment and management of private trusts, structuring through the use of Cyprus corporate vehicles and assisting clients in obtaining Cypriot citizenship and permanent residency on the island.
With respect to her practice in the field of tax, Evangelia regularly reviews high value transactions, typically with a cross-border element, and provides advice to corporate clients on the local tax implications of complex, high-value transactions. She also liaises with the local tax authorities on a daily basis and obtains tax rulings for clients.
